Spring 2015

Hello all!  I know it's been awhile.  Blogging has been pushed back on the to-do list for awhile, but hopefully we'll be back on track now!

This past spring started with visiting Play'N Wisconsin to play on some swing sets and trampolines indoors.  It was really fun and London and her friend Will had a blast!

We also had Grandma Diane and Mema Betty visit for a few days to see Amber's concerts at school and then we all made a short trip to Milwaukee so that we could taste-test wedding cakes and cupcakes for Adam and Becky's wedding.  It was a nice visit especially since it involved eating a lot of yummy cake!

The next weekend we headed to Stevens Point for a short weekend visit.  We went bowling and had ice cream at Belt's which is always a fun time!

After going to Stevens Point Amber and London made their way to Appleton for a few days during Amber's spring break.

Story time with Mema, Riley and London.

We were all in Janesville for Easter service, attended an Easter Egg Hunt and dyed Easter eggs.  London had a blast picking up as many eggs as she could, seeing the Easter Bunny and decorating eggs.

The next weekend we made the short trip to Madison to go to the zoo and have dinner with Michelle.  London always has fun seeing the animals at the zoo and we had some great German-style food at Capital Tap House.

Trivia weekend was the next weekend so we all headed up to Stevens Point.  John was there for the duration of the contest and Amber and London went up to cheer FFTROU on!  They ended up taking 2nd place for the third year in a row!  Good work!

A few weeks later Amber went up to Madison for dinner and to see the show "Mama Mia" with Mary and Michelle.  It was a great performance!

A few weeks later we headed to Appleton/Green Bay for John and Adam to participate in the Green Bay Cellcom Half Marathon.  Mike also surprised everyone by running too!  All three of them ran the 1/2 Marathon with PR's and everyone else had a great time cheering them on.

We finished off the month of May by going to a Brewer game and Joe Nichols concert and attending  John's cousin Laura's wedding in Chicago.  The Brewers lost, but Joe Nichols was awesome and although the day was rainy and cold the wedding was beautiful and we had a lot of fun!

Thanks for catching up with us.  Look for our summer addition coming very soon.  Until then...Go Pack Go!

  1. That’s spectacular post. All of these photos are so fun. In the last spring, my cousin also got married at one of the private beach side Chicago wedding venues. The custom décor was arranged by the planning team. Especially, I was in love with the gorgeous glittery backdrop.
